whilst i doubt the usefullness of SETI to the human race.... compared
to the science that would benefit man-kind in the 'united devices'
challenge http://members.ud.com/vypc/ (theres an Amiga team there!)
and the advances to science that the Mersennes Prime search
(http://www.mersenne.org ) or the OGR search of D.net
(http://www.distributed.net) or the proof of concept of the RC5-64
challenge..
I must admit that I have doen some SETI units on my Amiga ;-)
(Its slow though..the 603e really does suffer from lack of L2
cache...ESSENTIAL in such FFT processing work!)
